Prime Location
Located in a small street of the 5th arrondissement, close to Quai de Montebello and Notre-Dame, this is an ideal central location for a base to visit Paris, or for just staying there longer.
RER C line travelling along the Seine to the Eiffel Tower, stops at nearby St Michel station, as well as the metro.
But Notre Dame / Ile de la Cité, Ile St Louis, much of the interesting part of the Quartier Latin, and the historical Le Marais area on the right bank, are within walking distance.
Joggers may use the lower left bank of the Seine river, on a promenade leading to the Jardin des Plantes (a nice large spot of greenery) and further to the Grande Bibliotheque, in front of which the most modern swimming pool of Paris has been opened recently. The new bicycle system, implemented by the City of Paris in July 2007, also allows many free transportation possibilities.
Traditional connections are excellent : buses and the RER C line are running along the Seine river very near the apartment, Maubert Mutualité being the nearest classical metro station (line 10) on nearby Place Maubert
The apartment
The apartment living and dining room offers a great impression of space and cosy homey comfort, with the cachet of old beams and very nice wooden floors.
The living room offers comfortable sofa and seats, a television and a stereo.
And a view over Notre Dame-de-Paris cathedral
The bedrooms are relatively small but sufficient for the time spent there, mostly to sleep. They face the quiet rue Maître Albert, the master bedroom faces also the very quiet courtyard.
The bathroom is equipped with a wash-basin, a bathtub, a shower nozzle, and a toilet
The kitchen offers a refrigerator, gas burners (preferred by good cooks), an oven, a microwave, a washing machine, and the necessary kitchenware and tableware.
The apartment has been renovated / repainted / refreshed during the summer 2012.
It is therefore in excellent condition.

This apartment is usually available for long term stays,
exceptionally for shorter stays.

* LONG TERM RENTAL
Serious renters with adequate guarantees may rent it long term.
The monthly rent would be 2,500 euros base rent including charges of the building + telecommunications, + electricity/gas + (once a year) taxe d'habitation + renter's insurance premium (probably around 15 euros per month but the yearly premium is usually payable upfront - so called "multirisques habitation" coverage).
Broker's fee would be 10% of 12 months of rent payable upfront, for a rental period of 12 months.
The amount of the refundable safety and key deposit is equal to 2 months of rent, as usual in France for long term rentals. When there is no damage in the apartment, no missing inventory item and no key is lost, that deposit is refunded in full upon departure.
